The result is a loose, sometimes quite sketchy approach that nevertheless captures the essence of her subjects and hints at a lot more detail than it actually portrays. If you’re looking for a way to put figures in a painting of which they’re not the primary subject, there’s a lot here to set you on the way. However, if what you’re looking for is more detailed figure work, then you will be better looking elsewhere.
