This attractive and colourful series of books is designed to encourage young children taking their first steps in drawing and painting.
The truth is that it’s harder to stop small children to stop drawing than it is to get them to start and many a parent and grandparent has the walls to prove it! However, these books will go a long way towards providing some direction and structure to what may, at the moment, be fairly random scribbles.
Simple instructions which an adult can help with and a series of very short steps produce results quickly, which is essential to keep young minds interested and occupied. Well thought-out and packed with ideas and simple illustrations, anyone who wants to help a child on the road to some sort of artistic endeavour or expression will find these books invaluable.
You can’t really review individual titles: just pick and mix as you fancy and watch them go!
